QUESTION: "How do I gain more exposure for my business through speaking engagements? What are the best steps to take?"
ANSWER: "Check your local newspaper for organizations that hold regular monthly meetings (professional organizations, civic and social groups, etc. Get a contact name and find out what their procedure is for getting on their calendar to speak to their organization.
Another avenue is to check with your local chamber of commerce and find out if they use speakers at their events. Faith-based organizations are also a good avenue. Most have regularly scheduled activities and groups that meet outside of worship service hours. Call and find out if they use speakers."
