Mary strongly believes that getting the right talent in the right place at the right time is foundational to success.   She is known for looking at the bigger picture and synthesizing information to pinpoint the top priorities required to drive a particular strategy or solve a complex problem.  Her coaching style is straightforward, solution focused, and pragmatic while helping create tailored plans that are based on situational needs, personal goals, and leadership skills

After 20+ years in leadership roles in multiple industries, the one thing that repeatedly proved invaluable to corporate success is a talent matters approach.  Mary partners with corporate leaders to develop the talent strategies necessary to execute their business.  With a focus on assessing, understanding, and capitalizing on individual and team strengths Mary’s work has led to improved employee engagement and business performance.  Additionally, she has led complex change initiatives and used systemic approaches to increasing employee and customer satisfaction.

Mary’s professional career includes leading Fortune 500 organizations in HR leadership roles. Her career spans executive leadership roles with corporatewide accountability for leading talent strategy, leadership and organizational development, talent acquisition, executive selection, succession planning, diversity and HR Business Partner teams.   Mary’s roles include over ten years at Charles Schwab in SVP Talent Management, SVP HR Strategy & Operations, VP of HR positions and Director-level positions at Kaiser Permanente and Mervyn’s (a division of Target Stores).
